Cairo - Mubasher: Gadwa for Industrial Development Company generated consolidated net profits after tax totaling EGP 648.37 million in the first nine months (9M) of 2025, signaling a year-on-year (YoY) plunge from EGP 1.54 billion.
The earnings per share (EPS) amounted to EGP 0.55 in 9M-25 when compared with EGP 1 in the corresponding period of 2024, according to the financial statements.
Meanwhile, the consolidated operating revenues dropped to EGP 12.25 billion in 9M-25 from EGP 14.43 billion in 9M-24.
During the January-September 2025 period, the total assets reached EGP 22.51 billion, compared to EGP 20.20 billion as of 31 December 2024.
Standalone Results for 9M-25
The non-consolidated net profits after tax of Gadwa hit EGP 591.71 million in 9M-25, marking an annual plummet from EGP 1.09 billion.
Standalone operating revenues plummeted to EGP 602.99 million in 9M-25 from EGP 1.03 billion in 9M-24, while the EPS retreated to EGP 0.50 from EGP 0.93.
Non-consolidated total assets amounted to EGP 4.55 billion at the end of September 2025, versus EGP 4.13 billion as of 31 December 2024.
Financial Statements for Q3
During the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, the EGX-listed company registered an annual drop in consolidated net profits after tax to EGP 7.37 million, against EGP 333.30 million.
Consolidated operating revenues decreased to EGP 3.16 billion in Q3-25 from EGP 5.33 billion in the three-month period that ended on 30 September 2024, whereas the EPS declined to EGP 0.02 from EGP 0.19.
As for the standalone results, the company turned to net losses after tax worth EGP 1.90 million in Q3-25, against net profits after tax of EGP 267.49 million in Q3-24. Meanwhile, the loss per share stood at EGP 0.002, compared with an EPS of EGP 0.24.
Moreover, the EGX-listed company swung to negative non-consolidated operating revenues of EGP 2.51 million in Q3-25, versus operating revenues of EGP 241.94 million in Q3-24.
In the first half (H1) of 2025, Gadwa’s consolidated net profits fell by 46.91% to EGP 641 million from EGP 1.20 billion in H1-24.
